  • tasted over 2 days.
1st day pop and pour, nose of bacon-pickle, or maybe mustard at first, then fruit red and even a little black, with jammy, a hint of vanilla too ... on the mouth mostly fruit, raspberries and cherries, maybe a hint of rose. not much mid at all and short finish
2nd day a bit more interesting. more notes of smoke and earth and funk on the nose, in the mouth the fruit was more restrained and elements of earth and smoke were present in the mid and finish ... finish was better but still pretty short ...

overall, not bad, but i'd def decant this to see its best ...

  • Forward and appealing for its juicy dark cherry, pine cone, smoke and herb flavors. Medium bodied, and food friendly, this strikes a nice balance between its sweet fruit and acid.

  • Medium to deep garnet in color. Dark berry and black cherry on the nose with some spice. Medium bodied with an excellent fruit profile. An excellent bottle of wine for this price point. Sweet fruit with fine tannins.
