12.5% alcohol, low price - not bad value for money but the wine lacks balance - gone "watery" and fruity (red cherry, raspberry). Not pleasant, past its prime...

Pleasant, unmistakable smooth reserva, not particular complex but no oak blanket either. Good value when half-price in Tesco at about £6. Way overpriced at the normal £11.99 or thereabouts.

A very nice surprise, especially for the price. Light body, cherry red colour (clearly fading on the rim), enormous acidity, and a very distintive rioja nose a mix of truffle, cigar box, and animal notes...I can only guess some red fruit at the very end. Acidity dominates in mouth, with similar flavour profile of old wood and horse sweat. Overall a nice rioja, maybe the best you can get at Tesco! (I know... it is not much to say)

Good Rioja - would have again. Pen had taste she did not like from second drinking. Little tannin left

Fairly simple flavour for a Rioja but quite inoffensive. Lacks the depth of other Riojas.
