I opened this one tonight after reading about Petite Verdot in the latest Wash report from the WA. This took about 3 hours after a pop and pour to open up and soften the hard edges. Smoky, toasty oak, saddle leather nose. Intense dark chocolate with dark and blue fruit flavors that finish with a hint of mint. Dense ripe, chewy tannins that are smooth and polished. Finishes lasts a decent amount of time. This is one of the best bottles from this producer that I've had. Wish I had more. Maybe Petite Verdot can so just as well in Livermore as Washington.
