From a leaker magnum, this was firing on all cylinders. The addition of some cab franc and petite verdot has added to the complexity of what was already an excellent wine. Great job, Barlow!

Left to bottle breathe for 3 hours and consumed over 2 days. Very nice blend. Very smooth and refined with plent of black fruit with notes of tobacco and earth. Very nicely balanced. On day 2 this held up very well and drank a bit more like a cabernet with more pronounced cassis. Tannins are smooth at this point. Very good and a decent QPR at around #35. Should drink well for several more years.

Wow, echo prior reviews. Wish that I had a case tucked away for 3-8 more years of comparison, but this carries the flag for Cali-Bordeaux blends. Rich, powerful yet understated, full of complexity and flavor, and incredibly well-paired with simple paired prime filets.

Great hints of Cabernet franc and petit verdot. Must decant and filter - tons of sediment
