on night one (90/91) still a little dark / heavy for my taste... much better on night two (92)... commented to my wife that I should always decant my burgs the night before (unless 25 years plus of age)... nice dark red fruit with good acidity and mouthfeel / texture

One word . . . Disappointing. Barnyard, earth/dirt, red cherries and a whole lot of tannin which got more pronounced as the evening went on. Drank over 3 hours and became more disjointed with time. Somehow I always am disappointed by Bouchard's reds.

Amazing bottle that brought memories from Wine Spectator Wine Experience a couple of years ago. Exuberant elegance, refinement and finesse. This is what noble Burgundy feels like. Beautiful blend of red fruits on the nose, silk on the palate, unending finish. Great, great bottle. Pairing: Grilled Loin Lamb chops [A+]

In a good place. Tannins are resolved and acid is still present. Great mix of primary, secondary, and the start of tertiary notes. quite enjoyable…
