Nose: Blueberry, earth, ripe cherry, dried leaves, hoisin sauce Notes: I think Ponsot wines, with the exception of Clos de la Roche which is usually very impressive, are often found to be a little weak and almost diluted comparing to the grading. This is not something I would expect from a Griotte by one of the top makers. Overall the wine was decent but it's not very well integrated. I cannot help but be disappointed once more with this Domaine. I see no point in further cellaring. Drink: now+ Rating: 88

Friday after Thanksgiving (FAT) - Part 1 - Burgundy 2006 (Palm Beach Gardens FL): Open several hours when first tasted. Black cherry and berry with some baking spice. Moderate intensity. Far more accessible (and more enjoyment) than the Clos de la Roche or Clos St Denis, but without the same concentration/ potential as those two.
