Lots of brown spices, with red and plummy fruits on the nose combined with some earthy funk. Bright acidity and fruit attack yet a slightly thin and lacking mid palate. Slightly gamey and both feminine and masculine. Some chewy tannin on the med finish. Day 2 shows mainly a cherries and earth nose with rose bush funk. Slightly angular and rustic palate though good acidity, texture and finish. A nice wine which excels with food.

taste: great silky feel with brown spices, game tones, and dark cherries balancing things out
overall: a real quality burg. Good weight and acidity with wonderful aromatics showing off the terroir. Nice and silky brown spiced attack with a dark cherry finish

Loved it, pleasantly surprised. I drank one a few years ago and was somewhat disappointed, this seems to be the perfect time to open one up.
