  • Tasted over 3 hrs
    -med dark red faint clearing
    -warm ripe dark cherry berry spice creamy wet stone and some residual oak
    -med acidity gives nice cut, med weight and concentration stylish somewhat fading ripe sweet dark cherry berry fruit compote, a little bit of sweetness and slightly astringent med tannins from the oak regimen
    -quite concentrated and ripe for the vintage; has aged quite nicely now on a prime drinking plateau

  • Nice bouquet of rose Petals. Wine is starting to develop some secondary flavors and is balanced and drinking nicely with sandlewood, cigar and oak flavors.

    (Perrot-Minot Christophe Vosne-Romanée Les Beaumonts) Medium, medium-plus colour. Once more, many dimensions open up on the nose - perhaps a little cola too, but I won’t hold that against it right now! Less obviously ripe than the villages cuvée but there’s super, mouth-filling concentration and a background of tannin that for a while comes more center-stage. Super, but 156 swiss francs…
