Deep burgundy shoe polish color. Floral and strawberry aromas with some cinnamon poking through. Round entry. Strawberry and cherry flavors wrapped in spice sitting on a mineral spine. Plus aromas. The mid-palate was thin and that may be the vintage showing through. Polished style. 90
Opens up over the course of an evening. Crushed rose petals, cherry liquor, raspberries, and nice complexity. Well integrated and quiet dose of oak. Fresh and quite long finish. Very food friendly. drink now or keep a few more years.
