  • Lovely and fragrant nose with lots of depth, floral notes, cherries, and strawberries. Good acidity and quite full on the palate with more strawberry notes, a hint of cinnamon, tart fruit, and cherries. Long finish. This was really really good with nice complexity. Lovely wine!

  • Old! Old but good. Old fruit and endless interest. Profoundly moving. Acidic and tannic - surely capable of many more years of pleasure. So many inner tensions all happily resolved. Terrific. Unforgettable.

  • Very Dujac spicy and stalky nose. There is black fruit there but it’s hiding.
Very nice on the palate, black fruits, tannin and acidity, fresh and intense, good balance.
Nice wine but the house style completely overwhelms vineyard expression.

  • First tasted a decade ago at a Burgundy tasting in 2010. Loved it immediately and went out to buy a case. Have been following its development over the last decade and was disappointed on 3-4 tries. Nevertheless, it is here again. PNP, some oxidative tertiary notes of toffee on first pour, some development. Intense nose of rose with a bit of tart on first sips. An hour later, it was a completely different wine and sang it did. Red cherry, raspberry, red current. Medium to full body. Perfectly balanced by fruits and sweetness in front and acidity and ripe tannins at the back, and the nose gained intensity till the very last sip. The finish was medium to long too. A very strong showing and a very delicious, enjoyable bottle. Finally coming together perhaps. Reminds one the reason why we keep looking for that elusive bottle of Burgundy. Can drink now and will still improve with age.
