  • So lucky to taste a wine of this provenance. Recorked sometime in the last 20 years with identical vintage. It's at it's peak, never going to improve but hardly any room to. Almost perfect. Color? Light ruby red, opaque and just a touch of brown on the sides. Nose? Sort of like a chocolate mocha cherry tart. The mocha flavors really stand out. Taste? Once again, you get the hint of mocha along with sweet framboise macaroon characteristics. Length? How long can you count to?

With Staglin's, Lee Hudson, Thompson's and Clive Coates.
