Bill & Crew - Offline #1 (Sydney, Australia): Deeper golden coloured. Chalk, toast, pear, orange peel and spice. The palate has rounded right out but it still has the acid to bring it back into focus. I think this was better 5 years ago, but still holding up well. Drink now based on this bottle.

SLDS May Catchup Event: Light golden colour. Apple, pear, spice, orange peel, and lime - quite ripe but there is also quite a bit of that spice that keeps the interest level high. The palate has excellent acidity to match with the ripe fruit profile, this is still quite youthful and vibrant. Another 4-5 years would be interesting to see where its development goes.

There's some nice aromas here, particularly red fruits, but it's not that exciting in terms of texture or acid. I don't follow Alsace vintages, but isn't this supposed to be one of the best producers and vineyards? A terrible value. Good+.

Gorgeous nose of tropical fruits, quince, and honey. Smells like it's going to be sweet, but on the palate it is all rocks and minerals and steel. Pretty great now but seems to have a long life ahead of it in the cellar too.
