  • 12.9% AV. Fill is up into the neck. Cork broke in half and crumbled so had to decant.
Very dark crimson color. Subdued but lovely nose of blackberry leaf, licorice, black cherry and graphite. Medium body, with just hints of flavors--blackberry, licorice, tobacco leaf, sage, and minerals--nice complexity. Not so deep but decent length, barely any tannins, lingering, wet finish. A dead ringer for a Pauillac. Very fine.

  • Excellent Cab from one of my favorite producers from a great Cab year. Still has fairly big fruit on the attack, excellent complexity in the mid-palate and a long finish. Lots of life left. Very Pritchard Hill in style.
