  Alcohol comes through a bit strong on first sip but mellows after an hour or so after opening. Dark fruits with moderate tannins and medium finish.

  Very nice bottle. As others have noted, improves with time, particularly nice on Day 2.

  excellent fruit. Hint of dried flowers and vitamin C tablets. A bit bitter and still reduced upon opening. This opens after 90 mins or so. Chewy tannins and cleansing acidity. A bit of alcoholic burn on the finish.

  really wonderful, aromatic bouquet, decanted and then only improved over two hours, delicious fruit, clean after taste and no heat even though 14.5%, strictly for the benefit of others we opened a 05 bordeaux to compare and the syrah won out
