  Tasted blind – Opened and served right away. Medium ruby core moving to a thin very pale pinkish rim. Youthful nose of cotton candy, raspberry, red liquorice. High acidity, medium, low to medium tannins, medium finish. Lighter flavours of red fruits, some spice. Basic. Drink now. Average.

  Much better showing for this wine. Drunk slightly chilled, this had all the refreshing hallmarks of a lovely Beaujolais. Incredibly well made, not just in respect of the vintage, this juicy, taut and, dare I say, cheeky wine was a delight. Definitely needs the right food, but it was a lovely wine.
