Not very impressed with this wine. I have to admit that I may have held it to a higher standard given what Plan Pegau is capable of producing. The nose consist of bright red fruit that is dominated by crushed rasberry. The color is light ruby red on a light to medium body. I can barely taste some of the it's big brother's flavor profiles but they are muted/dull. There is some sediment in the wine and it feels slightly grainy on teh tongue (very much like their CDP. It's a very drinkable wine...just not inspiring. (screw top)
Nice clear color. The nose is quite simple but just wonderful - black cherries, mature fruits, earthy... On the palate delicious and refreshing - again the black cherries and red fruits - good balance with a nice fruit. One of those wines you just want to slurp in big mouthfuls. A very nice wine to a very fair price!
