This time around this is in full blossom. The last bottle must have been going through a mute phase. This is earthy, soily and quite red on the nose and palate. Flavors of unripe strawberry and raspberry. Much smoother on the palate than three years ago as well. Tannins are almost imperceptible. Finish is bright and savory. Tastes twice as much as three years ago.

This is big boned for a S-l-B with dark fruits, wet stone, and tar. There are some floral elements but they are not primary. A masculine version of Savigny for sure, with more stuffing than I am used to. Nevertheless, this is cleanly made, perhaps a bit over-polished, and built to last. I think this has another 5 years in it easy.

Audozed for 2 hours, as it was muted upon opening. It opened up nicely, afterwards with red fruits and savory herbs. Acid is medium and the nose is soily. Artesanal in texture, it feels whole. Finish is decent. Good bottle but $30 is not a great QPR.

Medium red with a garnet tinged edge. Beautifully primary tart ripe pinot cherry fruit and fine earth. With air, some rhubarb nuance and sweeter, more raspberryish fruit, and overgrown herbs. Bright and lively; starts a tad juicy but soon develops the texture of rustic yet not coarse hearth baked bread, with a long finish. Amazingly versatile; paired decently with a sweet, sour, and spicy broccoli-based dish of all things.
