Either the tannins are smoothing out or the cheese I ate did the trick but this was a very nice bottle. Similar nose as before, plum, pencil lead and eucalyptus. Solid from start to finish and holds together nicely on the mid palate. Decanted and ran through vinturi prior to drinking.

Plum, pencil led and eucalyptus. Still young and needs a few more years in the bottle or a major decant period. If you are having it with a robust food then you can probably go with a few hour decant and be fine as the food will smooth the still firm tannins.

Drinking quite well. More bottle age OK but really enjoying how it tastes at this stage.

A little young. Needs to lay down a while.

Very consistent with my 9/2010 notes, drinking well with vinturi and short decant.
