Enjoyable lavender and floral nose, but with traces of alcohol. Unfortunately the alcohol comes through in spades and is the dominant component. There isn't enough fruit to balance out the alcohol and there is an overall lack of balance to the wine. I had hopes that this wouldn't be the case a year later, but it has come true. I still think a winery to follow. Seems more in the Loring/Kosta Browne camp than McHenry/Rhys.
