Daniel Does Burgundy (Eleven Madison Park): Not much to say about this that I haven't already said, except this bottle is slightly brighter than the others, the fruit a little more powerful in comparison to the other stuff. I love the definition and angles here. This wine is no softie.

Superb white Burgundy that grabs you by the lapels and screams its greatness from the get-go. I don't think I'd even swallowed the initial taste by the time I ran to the computer to bid on the remaining three bottles on Winebid. From the crispness and bright complexion of the fruit this wine might taste like it was born yesterday, but it reeks of so much mineral depth it feels like it's spent the last 15 years jackhammering through rock, infusing the wine with both the rock and the machinery, granite and gunpowder.
