  My first encounter with Miura. A pristine bottle, held since release by a friend who knew the winemaker. Shy nose, which quickly softened to show floral aspects and red fruit notes. Soft currants and plum on the palate, fully integrated, fine-grained tannins, and medium length finish. Lovely, and held up over several hours.
