Perhaps a little past peak, getting a bit tawny, brownish color. Developed some pleasant secondary and tertiary characteristics, but still quite nice. Two bottles left, and will drink in next 2-3 years

Bottle lip and most of the collar came off with the cork. Filtered and drank anyway. 'Cause I'm "smart". ;) Dark fruits and legit tertiary flavors. Plum, olive, graphite. Fruit goes a bit more red, with a hint of tomato as the wine loses length later in the evening. Great length. Stole these bottles price-wise and they kept getting better. Not sure I see an upside to holding any longer though. 91-92

one hour slow ox. Great red fruit, beginnings of some nice tertiary notes. Tannins and mostly broken down. It’s not the most vibrant Pomerol, but it’s in a really good place without much fuss right now.

In spite of a less than stellar vintage, this was excellent. Very expressive and mature aromatics with a flavorful, silky mouthfeel. Medium finish. Still open for business for a couple more years.
