  Good value pinot year after year. Fleshy strawberry and cherry mingle with floral boquet. Black pepper, cherry and baking spices fill the mouth through the satiny finish. Uncomplicated with plenty of character.

  The wife popped and poured this last night. I got home from work in the morning and found only 1 glass missing from the bottle which is always a bad sign. The bottle has been open for 12 hours now so I poured a glass. The smell of the wine is jumping out of the glass, I get cherry cola right off the bat, but I also get this weird mustiness that is not pleasant. Strawberry also present on the nose. Just like when I tried a small taste before work, this wine tastes way better then it smells. Nice silky mouth-feel. Strawberries, cherries, cola, a little spicy. The wife loves fruit bombs and this wine is definitely not that. Slightly bitter and hot on the short finish. Overall the wine is good, but not good enough to buy again.
  
  EDIT: I had to come back, I just tasted another bottle with the winemaker at a local wineshop and there is definitely some bottle variation going on as the one I just had was fresh and clean with ripe fruits and some sour berries on the finish. Upgrading a point as of now, and a good value as well.

  Cork 2 Year Anniversary (Cork - A Bottle Shop, Portland OR): Nice nose of vanilla, strawberry, with a nice kick of spice and earth. Tasty, but a tad bitter on the finish. Very Good/Excellent - 87 points.
