Decanted 30 minutes; consumed over 4 hours. A little closed up until hour 2; showed at its best between hour 2 – 4. Nice elements of apple, floral perfume, and some distant mineral notes. A little disappointing in nose concentration; only average, but the palate concentration is where this really shines. Intensely sweet and tart; very nice acidic balance. May be in a bit of a dumb phase. I agree w/recent CT notes; there’s enough punch here for the long haul, and will likely improve and come together in 3-5 years. 91 pts now but has at least a 93 pt potential down the road.

Riesling: Riesling #2. I'm not a big Riesling guy, but this was quite a wine. Gorgeous nose. Beautifully balanced, intense and rich. My experience with these is limited, but this seemed to be a very class act.

Starts out a little flat and dull initially, but picks up with some air to show rich peach, citrus and apple fruit seasoned by minerally and creamy notes. Still very youthful and rich, not showing much development but it's still providing plenty of pleasure right now.

Quick note, needs a bit more age, very acidic with bright notes of grapefruit and pineapple with typical green apple on the finish.
