Light Garnet in color with a nose of mushroom and earth. This elegant , red fruit oriented, mildly tart Pinot is still drinking well, complemented beef stroganoff, and was good by itself.

Based on the reviews I saw, I decided to use this for some beef burgundy we are cooking, but after opening and trying some to see if it was "OK", I think it is much better than the prior reviewers. Light nose of dark red berry and dark cherry, and with dark-fruit and earth on on the palate . A light to medium body with a full mouthfeel and a medium, but tart finish. It did not improve much over the first hour - in fact I think it took on more tartness. While not anywhere near a 1er cru, I enjoyed this wine and think it would be just fine for everyday quaffing.

A nice drinking Burg with very little in the velvety or depth department. If one is looking for a school night Burgundy this isn't a bad place to start. The sour Cherry is predominant on the palate but there's none of the earthy characteristics that I love in a solid Pinot Noir. 13% EtOH is right up my alley.

Light red in color with fruit up front, and a bit of mushroom midway through.

Very light nose. Floral and cherry notes. Dilute flavors. Oak & tannins show, overpowering the fruit at times.
