Sweet and creamy pear, apple, mango fruit...slate mineral, crisp lemon chiffon acidity, some truffle honey butter as well. Very creamy, showing wonderful perfume florals and minerals, as well a touch of petrol. Would have liked a little less sweetness, and a bit more acidity....but pretty darn good for the money! Holding up well.

Dinner with d core: My last bottle of this terrific QbA. Everyone of the 6 bottles were very enjoyable. If anything, the nose was just a little reticent this time around. The palate however, was loaded with minerals, slate, lemon peel and verbena. Just a seamless wine with clear and precise flavors. The acidity is much more integrated, yet structurally this wine could last at least a few more years. Great length on the finish.

Man, what a well-made wine. I've heard that many '01s are shutting down but this bottle was singing. Loads of white fruit over a solid underpinning of minerals and brisk acidity, hints of petrol in the far background. Seems a shade darker in hue, just a touch more green-gold than upon release. Down to the last 3 bottles of this case, easily the best Qba I've ever had, bottle after bottle.

straw colored, citrus nose, floral, lightly sweet flavors with good minerality.

Another excellent bottle-just vibrant, fresh, racy, linear. Consistent bottle to bottle, one of the all-time QPRs.
