(Michel Tete Julienas) Some berry fruit and Indian spice with some nice floral aromas and inner mouth floral aromas. There is a little spritz due to it's youth. Seems a bit dilute with not much flavor. 2007's across Beaujolais, when I tasted them, did not impress me much. KInd of a burnt sensation on the finish.

She felt that this wine was lovely in a lightweight vein (which was what we were looking for tonight) with a distinct herbal note that she felt made for a better match with the bread stuffing than the roasted Rock Cornish game hens. Regardless, it was lovely and limpid and went down all too easily.

Just a delightful bottle of wine. This opens to joyous, grapey goodness, dark soil notes, and mouthwatering acidity. So versatile at the table, this is the perfect wine for a substantial meal, as the lightness of body and high acid of the wine are a great antidote to heavy cuisine. Yet there's a serious hint lurking under the surface; an inkling that this has the fortitude for medium-term aging. This is one of those wines that disappears so quickly that you don't get a chance to see what it does an hour, two hours, a day after it's been opened... it's just too easy to drink.
