Really lovely aromas of green onion, leek, peach, cantaloupe, dark green herbs, and even a hint of cinnamon. Incredibly clean, and though it's hardly viscous, this sticks to your tongue and the roof of your mouth. Would be a good match with everything from grilled fish to Chinese sweet and sour pork to just about anything deep-fried (I always think of deep-fried foods when I think of a prickly, good silvaner).

(Wittman Gruner Silvaner Trocken) This was a delightful wine. Crisp and clean with a creamy, silky texture. Not as intense or floral as Wirsching or as dirty and real as Furst but lovely in its own very refined crunchy mineral way.
