Popped and poured. Crumbly cork, required using the Durand. Pretty cherry and cranberry infused nose, showing spice and some whole cluster dusty stems. The palate is lively and shows sweet fruit, very sappy and a bit monolithic; lacks complexity. Very enjoyable and definitely holding up well.

Still nicely fresh with surprisingly bright red and black cherry start-to-finish. Good weight, good+ length and balance. Much better than it has any right to be at this age.

Something is off with this bottle from the get go. Cellared from their purchase. Cork was dry, crumbly and fell apart, with attempted screw and ah so cork pulls. Bouquet and color appropriate. Palette was off, hard to pinpoint this. Almost sour like. With air mellowed some. Interesting enough to drink a glass a hour after popping. Will re-cork n try mañana. Did we wait too long to open? No score.

This has got exaggerated bottle sweetness with cherry compote and maybe some herbal / earthy notes on the nose. There's not a ton of complexity and it finishes a bit short. It's not bad; I wouldn't say it's falling apart, but it probably hasn't benefited from the cellar time it's gotten- and I certainly don't see it getting any better.
