Lovely, mature wine. Still retains its fruit and power with a lovely nose of tar and caramel and a smooth palate with notes of chocolate, smoke, cedar and red fruit. Great QPR. Still a few years of life left in it.

Lufthansa First Class Experience; 8/30/2014-9/5/2014 (32,000 feet): Tobacco, earth, warm spice. Dark violets. Medium plus body. Juicy black/red fruit. Blackberry. Nice structure, fine tannic backbone with good acidity. Restrained. Trails off nicely on the finish. Paired well with wagyu brisket!
