Popped and aerated for about 45 minutes. Medium garnet, slight bricking on the rim. Expressive aromas of black and blue fruits, barbecue spices, dried herbs, and a touch of smoke. Medium to medium-plus body. On the palate, notes of blueberry and blackberry are a reminder of this wines' origin and are complimented by subtle flavors of vanilla bean, toast and other oak-influenced nuances. Moderate finish, mellow tannins. Although not very complex, this is quite tasty and satisfying. Probably drinking at or near it's peak and should be consumed within the next 1-2 years.
