Another gift for Dulcie's friend Hal with whom we dined in Minneapolis. Bright, fresh flavors, orchard fruit, minerality, some people say salt, i can see that, no great length, and fruitier than what I would expect from Muscadet. Hal appreciated and that what counts.

Yamhill-Carlton District AVA tasting at The Portland Armory: Light and zesty citrus on the nose, along with lemon zest and a bit of salt. Some acidic white fruits throughout, but this mainly has a really interesting rock salt component on the finish.

Thought this bottle was bad, until I read other's descriptions. Some citrus covered in herb, hazelnut/caramel (agree with sublet). Not to my liking.

No formal notes. Still holding up though, with some good fruit and a hint of hazelnut or caramel that shows off the age a bit.

The last of Todd's '07 whites: fresh, lively, minerality and orchard fruit, no great length or depth.
