Extremely reductive upon opening. Took 2 days to properly settle and open up. Linear nose of crystallized lemon, peach, dairy, aniseed, bisquits and sage. Dry, crisp and medium bodied palate with rather moderate fruit expression for the vintage. Again a rather savoury array of gentle flavors in the aftertaste: brioche, aniseed, dried herbs and olive oil. Intriguing. Very nice, but it really did take two days open to get there.
Slightly fruity nose with notes of olive oil, mineral touches, herbs, nuts and cinnamon. Dry with fine-grained acidity. Quite powerful and oily on the palate with good mineral presence and the distinguishing olive oil character in the lengthy finish. Very nice.
