  • The 2006 Riesling "R" by Peter Jakob Kühn arrived in his optimal drinking window. The expressive nose is characterized by dark, dried herbs, yellow stone fruit and a touch of saffron, maturity is recognizable. Bone-dry on the palate, but with a wonderful substance, a nice aroma of dried herbs, yellow fruits and a good, ripe acidity. A delicate bitterness of tannin fits perfectly into the picture. Beautiful length in the finish. (biodynamic producer)

  • Drank over three days. Light yellow. In the nose a brutal smell of spontaneous fermentation, this gets stronger on day two, but lightens up on day three. If you fight through the mist, the bouquet is awesome. Some apricot, lots of gooseberry, some lime, a lot of elderflower and some peach skin. On day three, there's also a strong note of passionfruit winegum. It's not super elegant, but super expressive. On the palate, it's juicy, extremely precise with medium acidity. On day one, it seemed very thin and diluted and became more and more expressive on days two and three. It's not broad, but very aromatic. Juicy finish with nice peachy notes with great minerality. A great Riesling if you can bear the spontaneous fermentation smell.

  • Vinarius wine tasting: Big floral and mineral aroma. Bone dry and giving a good mouthfeel. Good.
