Maybe a bit of age helped this because this is drinking very well tonight. Its added weight and depth. Apple, butterscotch and some orchard fruit. Acidity is well balanced. There is a touch of oxidation on the nose. Nice value.

EXTREME VALUE!! My last bottle of this super value white Burg. Still holding up but definitely at peak at 5-6 years old and I would certainly drink up, if I had anymore. Buttery, appley nose with a gentley toasted aroma and nice freshness. In the mouth the flavours open with spicy pear drops, apple, Viognier! and follow through with lemon and butterscotch - great complixity for this level and really fascinating for a village level Bourgogne. It could almost be descibed as a Condrieu/ Meursault/ Chablis hybird. It is medium bodied, has a lovely oily texture with creaminess but retains its freshness with a crisp lemon sherbert finish. Must stock up on the 2010 vintage. It must be the most interesting and best white wine buy in the whole Cote de Beaune and if not, what is?

Apricot and citrus notes balanced with subtle minerality. A bit overchilled, initial impression of excess brix and drab mouth feel. As the chill lifted, complex floral and stone fruits emerged, as did the bright but balanced acidity. Wish I had another.

Smart colour; disparate elements, subtle; expressive, acidity fading, a woody note; quirky, this was intriguing yet unconvincing.
