Really good stuff, at an excellent drinking place right now. The black and red fruit is tasty, but in the background, with plenty of herbs and rustic elements that really make it interesting, especially on the finish.

PnP. Wonderful aromas of pine, forrest floor, and dark fruits. On the palate this has refreshing acidity and complexity with flavors of cassis, currant, cedar, and tobacco. Medium+ finish with fine tannins; this should be good for several more years.

This wine was excellent for a Sonoma cab. Had a lot going on right out of the gates but sadly, my last sip toward to end of the night, after 2 hours of decant is when it pushed out the best flavors. It actually surprised me because many other high pedigree wines we had that night started to fall off, yet this one was still getting better and better. Great job Fred.

Intense cedar and spice nose, sweet red cedary fruits are backed up with enough acid to keep this fresh and the finish clean. Overall pretty nice, with good but maybe slightly candied fruits. My biggest gripe is too much wood on both the nose and palate.

Great mouthfeel and finish. A bit acidic - still pleasing. Nice interesting nose. Nothing really stands out, just lots of flavors that make it complex. Price appropriate. Still good on 2nd day but it had definitely lost a bit in the refrigerator.
