A rich, furry, rustic wine with a heart of light fruit. It is slightly salty, of all things, but probably goes with it being a true food wine. Its flavor changes dramatically depending on what is served with it. Low key and lovely.

Plum in color with a peppery nose. Slightly structured with light tannins on the finish. Not especially complex but not overly simple, especially at this price. Slightly earthy, in fhe French style, much smoother that Argentinian malbecs.

Drank over 5 days without much drop-off. Clean and light in the mouth. WIshed I had bought more.

Raspberry, hints of chocolate, plum/pruney. Tannins are much less aggressive than I would have suspected from a Cahor. Really enjoyed this wine.
