This first bottle features a fine perlage, light yellow colour, fruity-toasty nose. On the palate, even more fruits (apples?), toast, chalk, and a hint of nuts. Drinking very well, bottle was empty far too early!
Wonder what all those vintages are that are showing in CT. Very crisp and clean on the nose, I would guess a low dosage or a higher does of Chardonnay. They work with 1,400 growers. Crisp, clean, touches of brioche but more mineral. And I am wrong about the chardonnay, its 1/3 1/3 1/3. Three years aged.
Apparently hits $40 and works it out for that as well. Kinda darn delicious. Not any too strongly one thing, just tasty.

(NV Jacquart Brut Mosa´que) Rather heavily sulphured; there is little else apparent on the nose. A big, foaming mousse which gives the wine an inconsequential feel on the palate as it almost disappears. It is difficult to judge. It doesn't seem to have the balance I would like, and it is certainly very dominated by sulphur. There are other wines out there to buy instead, I think.
