  A solid merlot, with tobacco, earth, soft cherry fruit. Could be falling off a bit. But still a solid wine. Very Bordeaux like.

  I'm a little disappointed in the bottle to bottle variation between the exact same vintages. Still good... but not near the quality of the last 2005 we had.
