Straw colored. Rich and integrated with brioche, crab shell, white peach, lemon butter, toasted marshmallow, guava, and blanched almond qualities with a sustained finish. Earthy notes tussle with yellow fruits. Full-bodied and silky. Close to peak, but unexpectedly better the second night. Maybe a little heat on the finish. While the telltale minerality is revealed with air, I wouldn't mind a bit more acidity. Certainly not the best Chablis I've tasted, but solid nonetheless. Not an oyster wine, but would pair well with roasted chicken or grilled salmon.

4/27/2013 - Neecies Does not like this wine:
Premox alert!!!! Deep gold, overripe color, oxidated sherry-like flavors. Very unfortunate.
