The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. Initial taste was dark cherry & tobacco with medium tannin. Then decanted for 3 hours and served with bolognese and garlic bread. Three hours later and the flavor is wonderful and the tannin is less. Considering it was 15 yrs old, the wine was excellent.

Very dark red/purple color. Classic nose of cassis, dusty, mixed spices, tobacco, cedar. The palate is rich, deep, cassis, mulberry, very flavorful, fine graned tannins, tobacco on a medium plus finish. Drinking well. 90+ to 91. No drop off at all on day 3, impressive.

I really liked this wine. I drank it over three days and liked it all three days. I can usually tell when I wine has been open for a few days but this wine never took on those characteristics. I really liked the flavor and soft tannins. Not a heavy cab. A classic light Napa cabernet. I wish I had more.

Decanted for 1/2 hour. This wine has mellowed quite nicely over time. A bit of old world character to it. Drink now.

At Schwadrons. Light bodied, soft nose, very good house wine.
