Last year's trip to Provence and the Med gave us a taste for Rose as a delightful accompaniment to cheese and cold cuts. This little number comes from the old Roman city of Orange. Very easy drink. A couple of ice cubes to get it to the temperature at which we were served it in Cannes. Nose is somewhat similar to a Sauvignon Blanc. This one will be gone within the hour!
Another LVF wine, this one a rosé with subdued nose that has slight strawberry and a clean scent. The taste is light strawberry and that continues into a short finish which also has some oak and some decent tannins felt here. It doesn't take much for a wine this light, but it's there just enough to give structure.
