Light straw colored. Honeyed green apples on nose, w/ a little mineral and petrol. Viscous for the appearance, off-dry, a tad fizzy, sweet apples, Finish is medium-short, and a little flat. Enjoyable, if not a tad simple.

Creamy, but fresh green apples, lychee, and stone fruit on the nose are complimented by pineapple and honey notes. Great, oily viscosity and honeyed acidity on the palate. Tropical fruit and spice flavors dominate with richness.

Lots of bright stone fruit, peach, nectarine & apricot. Nice richness to the mouth feel; much more than I expected from a Gewurz. Not much finish though, and barely enough acidity to make it a good food wine. I'll try it with something a little spicier next time. Lovely sipping wine, though, if you're in the mood for off-dry. 3/21/10 Similar notes to last time, but had it with a Hunan style shrimp and it was better with the spice in the food.

Good the first night. Fresh, smooth taste green apple fruity was good with sushi, two nights later tasted flat didn't hold over.

Note essentially as before, though the spice in this bottle seemed a little more prominent, which is not a bad thing in my book.
