  Colour - Very purple, not alot of gradation. Nose - Lots of fruit. Redcurrents, plum. Palette - Full body, lots of fruit. Redcurrent, plum. Not alot of tanin. Does taste like a bordeux; too much of a fruit bomb. Good. Just too fruit forward, too hedonistic, not enough elegance. Still, better than many "super tuscans"; more finess, more class. BTW, I am typing in my notes well after I tasted this. I am pretty sure this is a Cote de Castilllon, and not a Lalande de Pomerol. from my memory. But not 100% certain. Anyway, I did like this. My tasting note said 93 to 95. Can't see why (as I sit today) why I rated it that high, so I will rate it at the lower end of my note. Price was $50 at the LCBO.
