This particular bottle was in splendid condition. It smelt like a Morey Grand Cru, probably a good thing really. There was a suggestion of blue fruits and a strap of liquorice threading through the aroma and flavour profile. It was pure with no artifice, showing some sous bois, moss, black tea and freshly tilled earth tertiary development traits. It was fine and energetic in the mouth with good detail and finishing with a little ash and pine needle sap.
