  • It is hard to describe the color. It is caramel and brownish with a red tint. Amazing nose of earth, mushroom, cedar and honey. Full palate bursting with flavor: sour cherry, orange peel, minerals, and honey. Amazing length. Mouthwatering acidity. A very singular and unique wine. LOVED IT!

  • Dinner at Nana's with Nick. Dark orange/copper in color. Heavy on apricots and botrytis with a little spice, I found this wine to be very good but not great. Light to medium bodied with a relatively short finish. 50+12+11+8+7 = 88.

  • Paired with berry cobbler and vanilla ice cream. This is always superb but perhaps I prefer it paired with cheese. Looking at my previous tasting notes ... "This has the most incredible deep orange color - absolutely mesmerizing. It tastes like liquified apricot jam without any thickness or heaviness, thanks to superb acidity. The nose, interestingly, always gives me a hint of Lay's potato chips."

  • I have now had four bottles of this in the past four months .... just can't keep my hands off them! This has the most incredible deep orange color - absolutely mesmerizing. It tastes like liquified apricot jam without any thickness or heaviness, thanks to superb acidity. The nose, interestingly, always gives me a hint of Lay's potato chips.
