Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • [Not oxidised]

Mid green gold. Honey comb, lemon meringue pie and sous bois on the nose. Quite vivacious. Great intensity on the palate. Good acidity balancing a rich and multi-dimensional palate. After an hour or so, a delicate waxiness develops on the nose, and tertiary flavours of truffle and gammon fat emerge. Overall, a beautifully resolved, fully mature great white burgundy. I don't think I've had such a good wine from Amiot before. Sadly, this is the last one, so I doubt I will again.
