It’s really only okay. A bit acidic and lacks any depth to make it compelling. Probably past its prime so I think the drinking dates here are likely ambitious.

Pop and poured. Drank over 3 hours. At Chateau Davyd and at home. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose medium+ intesnity, with aromas of savoury earth/dirty topsoil, fresh red cherries, slight smoked meat. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium- tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of savoury earth, menthol, red cherries, dark red cherries, slight meat. Long finish. Very good quality. Most probably a grateful beneficiary of the 05 vintage, as a result, feels more like an NSG rather than an elegant Chambolle. Initially fruit quite tight, opens up much better with more air. If the 2005 villages are only starting to open up now, I think I really need to keep my good Premier Cru and Grand Cru for another 3-4 years or more.
