Starting to show quite some age but still lots of brambly raspberry/blackberry liqueur, lavender flowers and oaky notes.

Black berries, fennel, plums, long and slightly alcoholic in the finish
Decanted 45 minutes. Mature and on a downward slope, but it has the typical balance of 2000 Priorat, with lots of red currant, subtle leather, tea/tobacco leaf, and a creamy mouthfeel. Drink now-2016.
Amazingly fresh and youthful still. The once powerful oak has begun to integrate, but this wine has the power and structure to last for a good while, I should think.
Very nice and at the moment on the peak - very good balance of oak and fruit, very expressive! Drink now or in the next 3 years...
