  Subtle nose. Smoke flavor with blackberries & cocoa with a mildly lengthy finish. Held up nicely to a MR Ribeye. Decanted for 1 hour. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this wine and wish I had more in the cellar

  Pinot Tasting on the Lake (La Maison Gormet - Lake Mission Viejo): N: nice complexity, interesting
  P: not good - there's a metallic taste wrapped around prune and lots of oak. Those three are not appealing to me on the best days.

  nice nose, tons of stewed prunes and dark berries, the palate is rich, fruit-focused, and delicious, plum stands out, blueberries, black cherries, and fig, very big and full of potent fruit
